I am really in the weeds now. So is my friend Shelly, currently in school and about to enter the RN program. You might recall she was there when I was detained and sent to the mental hospital, and she took care of my cat while I was there.
I’m halfway through my program and they just really ramped things up with my new classes for Winter II: Public Health and Social Media and Program Planning Evaluation. We’ve gone from simple class discussions to full collaboration on a quarter-long project starting now. I’m worried I’ll get the two classes mixed up – they’re both structured similarly in their online format.
It is already our first deadline – time to put in various bits and pieces for an emerging grand design. I don’t care for the group structure. After Thursday, the remaining work for the week is individual. And after Sunday, it all starts over again – pieces of a grander design. I’m not a good designer. Working with canva, prezi, etc… or making videos. I hate making videos. But I am adept at writing and research. APA formatting? I have it all memorized. One of the teachers specifically wants us to avoid APA formatting for our designs and writings and focus on the public health impact. Maybe working in groups will be a good thing…
