I’ve battled mental illness and addiction for many years. I’ve experienced time in an institutional setting and have lived through both the black hole of despair and the glorious rush of a manic high. I am diagnosed with bipolar disorder, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, severe anxiety, and severe depressive disorder.

I will document my psychiatric history from a reverse chronological perspective, as best I can. I will discuss trauma and frequent hospitalizations, as well as the intersection of law enforcement, the legal system, and mental health system.
